My foot seemed to be feeling better this afternoon, so as the wind was blowing, the waves looked good and the sun was shining, I hust had to go for a little windsurf session.

I went out with my 5.7m and Fanatic Cross and had a really good session. I had to make a few adjustments to the footstraps as my foot was still hurting really and seemed to be swelling up again whilst I was out there. Every time I got airbourne was pretty painful, so i didn't go for any jumps, but just blasted out through the fairly rough water, gybed on the face of one of the big (head high) swells and then blasted back in, riding a few swells and then having some really good wave-rides at the end. There were quite a few surfers out, so I just HAD to really go for it as far as the wave-riding was concerned however much it hurt my foot!!

I didn't stay out long, (about and hour and a half), and my foot doesn't feel too bad now so I don't think I've done any lasting damage. It would have been a 5-star session again I think, but the lack of jumps knocks it down to 4.
